Ok, if the cute bulldog rolling around on his back was not cute enough to make you wonder if your brain was perhaps made of cotton candy (I dont think a year in Japan can explain this intense need to squeal at cuteness, but maybe the slow rot began around then) then take a look at the little bulldog who is VERY unhappy about his transformation into the cutest dragon in the world. No amount of cheaper used golf balls will appease his dignity after this one.

And after the seriousness of the last video, I am going to take an abrupt turn on you people and offer cuteness instead. I have no idea why this photo makes me think of clamps, really I do not think of anything that could possibly fit, other than the Mantis clamping on to the dogs nose, which of course he doesnt. but it makes me giggle. And ever since Tracey sent me this i keep meaning to put it up to share it with the world.

… this is worth watching. Its a discussion on Haiti and its history and how that impacts the response to the earthquake and the portrayal of the country to those living outside of Haiti.

The part that really upsets about this ball of beautiful wonderfulness is that he will be a grown dog the next time I make it home to Canada. Is it wrong that I want to go home and miss out on an exam in my masters just to play with a puppy????? I love my rabbit, but dude needs incontinence products, he ALMOST makes it to his litter box. He manages to pee in there at least, but there is still a little trail of “buttons” leading up to and into it. Then again, my guess is that Max will not be releasing buttons.

I will admit I do not get jealous easily. Normally I am quite happy with my life and when I find myself being jealous I ask myself why, and then I go about changing what is missing in my life to make me happy again. I find that happy people who are content with themselves are generally happy when someone else gets something or has something great happen to them.

But this time its just plain green eyed catness. In the form of the most beautiful puppy in the world!!!

How can you not love him? In fact I was going to go meet a friend in city center and drink a coffee, but when I put him in his cage he grabbed the bars and rattled them like a prisoner in a cartoon. Guilt washed over me, and I had to set him free. There are just times when you think that anti-wrinkle cream was made just so that you can sit in the garden on the first sunny day of Spring (apparently Spring made a brief appearance here while I was in Portugal, doesn’t count I say, since I was not there to enjoy it!) and do nothing other than drink coffee and enjoy the fact you have your first private backyard in 2 years!

Today is my day off (and the only one for this week, I am in training for 3 days starting tomorrow, so goodbye weekend!)
and it is sunny, and I am sitting in the garden, drinking coffee, studying German and hanging out with my bunny with Regina in the background!

Maybe I will just resort to diet pills and read up on phosphacore reviews. In walking out to refill my tea and pick up my notebook so I can start (finish?) my report (it really depends on your viewpoint there) I succumbed to the chocolate in my purse that a well meaning student gave me. The first bit of chocolate in almost 48 hours!!!! I went a whole day yesterday without any. But now I am just a little bit hungry, not a lot, and a full mean seems to much, and the shoko goodness sang to me.

Maybe I need to start the sweeties jar again….

im going to try my best to hold out til this summer when we plan to retry the Iceland trip. (The German is insisting, but then he insisted last year as well!) So to help me remember I can study and save money all at the same time, Im watching RTW motorcycle trip videos. maybe it will not help me with finishing off my project work, but it will at least help me stay put in Germany.
