Sticky Apple Kisses

I am sitting on the balcony, trying to move the laptop enough to get continuous wireless (seriously, moving in 2 feet means losing the entire connection!) and listening to table tennis games and ps3 games for those lucky enough to be able to force their way in. But may I say that the food since we have hit Portugal has been absolutely divine, and although I have been working here as well as playing and enjoying the plentiful wine, I think I have the perfect route mappe dout for the next time my parents visit!

Im in Portugal! As in last week I thought I would spend this week working and writing and exam, and then a space became open and I jumped on in! I thought it would be a great way to get hands on experience, and so much better than sticking in a classroom for 3 weeks. Instead I can go to Portugal, where I have never been before, and enjoy 2 weeks of France, Spain and Portugal instead, and still get credit for my Masters!!!! You do not even mind looking into free life insurance quote when life is this great! It is not depressing at all!

I will be posting on and off again, over the next 2 weeks I will be participating in a soils course in Portugal. I think this is beyond awesome, and I love that I get a credit for it! Yes please, sign me up and let me get out of a regular course that is 3 weeks of lecture instead. Let me pack my clothes and prescription acne medication and I am willing to get on that bus 8 am on Saturday morning.

Most of the pics you can not see how good the German looked with his pillow for his fake baby. In this shot you can only see that J9 is rubbing his belly, and I think he is giving a description to how big his babies in fact are.

As the night went on he went from a normal pregnancy up to 3 or 4 in there. Most of the time however he settled on just twins. It was a fun night. But that reminds me of an embarrassing pregnancy story. I met a student I had not seen in a couple of months at a coffee shop last week. She would often talk about the most effective diet pills and how she often struggled with her weight. (She looks awesome always). And so when I saw her and she looked pregnant I asked how she was doing. I did not ask IF she was pregnant, I know that can be a disaster.

But the first words out of her mouth were “Im pregnant!” and I congratulated her and asked how many MONTHS she was.

She answered 5 weeks.

Some boys are always into things that are stereotypically “boys stuff” like Ferrari parts or tools. Not that girls are not into them as well, but you are never surprised when a boy says he likes to play mechanic, whereas you may be when a girl makes the same declaration. My boyfriend, he made a very pretty pregnant lady for Carnival. Me, I attempted to be a snow gypsy, because I had nothing besides Patricks hat and a lot of scarves and a skirt to wear. Halloween for me is in October, not February! I was unprepared for carnival!

I have not embedded videos from Flickr before, so here goes nothing…

I know I said they would be coming out faster last time, but I jinxed it and they in fact went slower than ever before! But in the end its ok, they are still coming, and it is always better late than never. And this one is great reason why someone might want weatherization training. The bike dies (why?) just as it starts to rain. Of course! But you need to wait again to see how we get out of it. It is in the next episode.

We went to Cologne for carnival for the first time this year (well the German went before, but this was my first time, and it was our first time together). I am trying to upload them to Flickr, but somewhere around half way through the bunny pictures the uploader gave up the ghost. So it may be a few more days before the pictures, and the understanding why everyone but me is currently experiencing joint pain. If you are my Facebook friend you can see them over there. You dont have to wait.

I no longer need fat burners, I just need to chase the bunny around the house. I dont need kids, I have a rabbit. And when he drives me nuts I can put him outside, not so with kids. People tend to frown upon it.

I wish I could say that this picture was the first time I caught him trying to eat this tree, but sadly it is not.

I have finally begun to upload some pics again. The bunny must have taken some testosterone boosters, because he is now brazen as can be and fights against me when I try to push him somewhere he is not allowed to go with my foot. He just leans in, whereas a month ago the little guy would not move. I have since learned to move wires, and plants, to make my apartment a little more bunny proof.
