My final farewell to you: while I travel Cuba next week (by scouter, bus or car has yet to be decided) you can take a look at this link: home theater furniture . Such things help me on my quest to see the world, and that just makes me happy. Plus I have Iceland this summer by motorcycle. And I love movies, so why not. yes this computer is driving me nuts, stressing me out, and making me ramble!

the really and truly sad thing about all inclusivies is that you learn just how unhappy people in general must be. Today I saw a guy giving it, and I mean giving it, to one of the girls at the buffet over a hair or the like. its a buffet, you are in Cuba, I just want to hit these people!!! Take a Colonix and get over it!

When we first booked this trip to Cuba, we were beyond excited. And although I am still having difficulty wrapping my mind around the idea of my brother as a married man, we knew the week of sun, sand and partying with family and friends would be awesome. Then we figured that since my parents planned to stay a second week, what better way to spend some time with them. But as the German said, there was no way he was coming to Cuba and not seeing something of the country. And so we booked our return flight a full week after our time at the resort ended. Now that the time is approaching, we are both excited and nervous all in one. We are so looking forward to the travel, but at the same time as motorcycle travelers who are use to total independence, the return to backpacking is one we look at with a little trepidation!

We are closing in on the 2 weeks mark here (the first week was the wedding with everyone here, the second is just us and my mom and dad) and on Thursday we head off for a week of exploring the island. We are looking forward to getting out and getting to see some of Cuba, the real Cuba. As beautiful as the resort and beach is, we could be in any beach resort in any of a variety of Caribbean countries. And of course the big push here is to get you to buy everything from rugsto jewelery. (although admittedly I am falling for most of the jewelery). Next week promises to be an adventure if nothing else.

Or where I get a little crude. Tonight we have a little extra free time because we are waiting for the steakhouse restaurant to open up. Say what you want about all inclusives (and I am on the I would rather be in a tent with my motorcycle side of things, however when it comes to meeting family they absolutely rock. They are a relaxing vacation where you think about nothing, rather than a full submersion into a country that our normal travel style is) when it comes to the food you always need to be careful. My stomach is not a sensitive soul, and I have been lucky on most of my trips. Not so much for others on this trip, (I am not even talking about my group). If however you feel like you have a colon cleanse coming upon you, please dot drink alchol and sit by the pool. I request you stay in your room, and refrain from letting your insides onto the very public walk to the pool.

So far Cuba has been fantastic even if the locals make me want to rush out and read every Decaslim reviews out there, I have seen good bodies before, but these seem to be perfect. Having said that I am now sucking on a Cadbury cream egg that my mother brought me after I begged her long distance for Easter chocolate. What kind of country is Germany that the only place you find cream eggs is in the import English shop, and then only if you get there before the ex pats descend??? Be warned!!! Mini eggs do not exist here. At least not in Stuttgart!

But maybe not that much. I am not going to get into the snot flinging 3 sentence speech that was to pass for Kelli´s welcome into the clan. It was not pretty, and I never got very far at all. Thankfully they have been together for 10 years already and the wedding was just to make it official. She already is family. More so than me really giving my extended absences in foreign countries for most of the last 10 years. But one of the couples that attended are getting married in July, and her brother is sending them on a cruise in September as his gift to them. Big sissy loves you, but if i pay for any Caribbean cruises its going to be my own!

I love this link car lifts, I found it today after coming back from picking up Betty, where she spent the last week getting fixed up from Turkey and ready for Turkey. I prefer to give my money to private small locally owned shops as well, rather than the big ones. I figured if they charge as much as BMW or less than why not. In my case they actually charged more (not that place, a place that shall remain nameless as tomorrow I fly to Cuba for my baby brother’s wedding and nothing can ruin that for me at the moment!). Or at least very little. I am getting superstitious in my old age.
So fewer posts over the next few weeks!

On a scale of 1-10, I am guessing riding up steep mountains of dirt is about a 9 on things you don’t want your bridesmaid doing the week before the wedding….
On a scale of coolness, it comes in at about a 12.
It was an AWESOME weekend. And I have found the secret to getting fit and staying fit…. Enduro training. I was a ball of sweat the entire weekend! And I mean sweat. This is me an hour into it and at the first break:
By the end of then day my hair could stand all by itself, with the sweat and the dirt. I don’t need diet pills before Cuba, I just needed Enduro lessons!!

It’s amazing how much finding out that I have been accepted into univeristy as lifted my mood. I have been on cloud 9 for the past week, things have really fallen into place; Im finally learning German, I have been accepted into a program that I can actually see myself having a career in (this is amazing because I have in all honesty never wanted roots and therefore never really wanted a career), and in 9 days I am on a plane to Cuba for my baby brother’s wedding! (with luxury hotel rooms, which is not normally the style we go for, we are bikers and tenters! But I am so looking forward to being spoiled!!!!)
(yes its me in my jammies)
And today I finally used my Christmas present from Patrick, a day of motorcycle street training! And this weekend we are off to the Black Forest for off road training (as an Easter gift from his parents). Wheeeeeeeeee
I look so much like my mom here its scary! I was going to say minus the bikers clothes but the German managed to get her on the back of thebike as well!
